The Central Coast’s premier Montessori Primary School.
The Central Coast Montessori Primary School (CCMPS) is an independent non-denominational primary school for 6-9 year olds (K-3) based on the 100 year old philosophy of Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Dr Maria Montessori.
The Primary Campus is located at 10-12 Debra Anne Drive Bateau Bay.
Over the next 3 years, our School will expand to provide a complete Montessori Primary Education for 6 – 12 year olds (Kindergarten to Grade 6).
Our vision is to provide an enriched learning environment that nurtures the whole child to help them realise their true potential.
Our mission is to gift each child with a vision of the whole world and their place in it so they can know who they are and why they are here.
We seek to awaken their imagination and nurture their innate wisdom so they can become their most engaged and empowered self.
STAGE 2 – 6-9 YEAR OLDS
The CCMPS Stage 2 programme for 6-9 year olds, equivalent to Kindergarten – Grade 3, allows the child to experience intellectual intelligence.
Our students study geography, biology, history, language, mathematics, science, culture, music and art through:
- demonstrations by a trained Montessori teacher
- collaborative research style learning
- storytelling and beautiful impressionistic charts
- carefully designed hands-on Montessori materials
- self-directed discover
- exploration and field trips (‘Going Out’).
Enrolments for 2017 and 2018 are now open.
